NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR ADOPTION OF NEW CONSTITUTION

Please be advised that the Board will be requesting adoption of a New Constitution at the Annual General Meeting being held on the 1st December.

The Incorporated Societies Act 2022 has replaced the 1908 Act, requiring societies to adopt a new, more detailed constitution that complies with the new legislation by the end of the transition period on April 5, 2026. 

As a result we have created a new constitution in order to comply with the requirements of the 2022 ACT. The constitution is attached to this email, and we will be requesting adoption of this new constitution at the Annual General Meeting on the 1st December 2025.
